This sandalus stone Arabic prayer beads is composed of 54 beads in various sizes of flattened round shape. The bead size measures 10 x 21 mm, 39 cm in length, and weighs 104.30 grams. The Shaheed is made of 5 pieces sandalus stones while the Karkousha is tassel.
Sandalus like granite in general is not only strikingly beautiful but very versatile in look, heat resistant, incredibly strong, and can go on looking beautiful for decades. It is made up of interlocking mineral crystals, the most common being feldstar and quartz, but also an array of other minerals can be included which makes sandalus stone unique.
